Octapharma Plasma - They don't care
DDoDI have been donating for a couple years at CSL and Continental. But I never had any issues like I do at octapharmaplasma. Today I was doing my donation but something was not right and my arm bubbled up and they had to take the needle out and rap it in ice. That is...

TERRIBLE SERVICE/TREATMENT OF STAFF MATES

Hi, I witness a very unprofessional situation that transpired on 03/12/2020 between 7:30-7:50pm at the 3120 Milton Rd Location in Charlotte NC. first and foremost I would like to start off by saying, this location when it come to upper management, is far and beyond unprofessional, I witness a young lady yelling, screaming and cursing loudly at another teammate while donors were waiting to donate Plasma, I overheard management someone by the name of james, say to her (Xavier be quiet) while the other young lady stood there, with a blank face, not saying a word in return. the young lady Xavier, was very rude, unprofessional, cursing loudly and belligerently in front of others, as if no care existed. if this the type of behavior that Octapharma tolerate from employees, then I highly recommend corporate get involved, management seem to not have much interest in reprimanding her for her behavior, management also appeared to be bit unprofessional with the potential donor, who never had the chance to donate, due to the matter that transpired. this whole location, need a complete Clean up starting with management, on down. There is no way, a manager whom is solely responsible for leadership, should allow such distasteful behavior to go on within the organization, especially dealing with people who are trying to help save a life. Very Nasty Place,And I Will Make Sure I File a Complaint with the Betterbusinessbureau Get it Together. Complete Trashy Location

Refused donation, lied to and bribed

Update by user Sep 07, 2019

I have since tried calling three times on three different occasions, still no answer. They could prevent further issues by hiring someione to pick up the phone and answer questions.

Their sign on the door says they close at 7 pm. Not 730 like the site says.

I am so disguisted by the manager telling people lies, and offering extra money to get them to leave and come back. I visited for the first time last night ... I live 45 miles away but heard good and they paid better. I tried calling to verify hours and eligibility as well as business secedls times snd no answer which is what had happened in the past . So I take off at 4:50 pm and drive arriving at 5:50 pm . I go in and there are empty donation chairs. There are three people sitting by front desk There are only two people in line waiting for the kiosk I figured this will go fast. the manager came out of his office as far as a new donor I said yes he told me to go around to the front a nice female waited for me met me told me to go ahead and go round to the third desk behind the wall for the initial input information that went fast... I thought I was on my way out the door within an hour and a half or so however I was told once I was put back there that the manager is offering a $5 incentive to come back tomorrow as my name is written down on indeed what looks like a napkin with numerous other people's names written on their HIPAA information not protected I was in asked to provide my ID so I can be put in the system then I was told that my address didn't match so she couldn't she didn't know if I could donate I told her that I wanted to wait to be seen because I didn't know if I had gas to get home I'd driven an hour she said the manager said it was going to be too long and they weren't accepting any more patients and then I asked her how long she thought it would be and I was told it would be at least three hours before I could see the nurse putting me out of there after 10 p.m. I told her there was no way I could wait but I really needed to try and asked if there was anything I could do to get ahead of the game she said I would be fast-tracked in the morning the manager came in but didn't really mention the incentive and told her how to look at my address correctly to show that I had a 45 mile or 45 minute drive. I thought I had no choice but to leave so I went ahead and went out or went to the bathroom when out the door went and grab something to eat 8 min parking lot while I was starting to fill out a complaint online and by the time all this was done it only been an hour and 20 minutes 30 at the very most before the managers walking out the door I thought that was odd So within 10 minutes of me pulling up closer to the building become an hour and 40 minutes maybe if not shorter than that after I was told I couldn't be seeing everybody was out the door and the doors were locked. All the three people waiting have been processed cheap airline been processed so I wasted the trip and I had to drive home with no money and no gas I don't have enough gas to get back up there. This complaint will be filed with the BBB snf corporate I want compensation for the miles, gas, and meal I had to pay for to donate and couldn't ! Then I can go back and meet my donations and bonuses for the month. You would think with new plasma centers opening in the area and competition happening... You would want to help people ... Policy states they are seen even if they come in at closing .. I did tell them and the manager I tried calling because I couldn't afford to waste the trip and he said nothjng.. literally nothing .... Sad and concerning who do I need to contact for my resolution
